Job Profile | The Asset Manager prepares and leads the preparation of financial statements and reports. They keep track of lending rates and investigate new sources of debt and tax equity. Asset Mangers manage the complex project financing process of one or more projects. They secure construction loans, equity, tax equity and standard project debt. They have a strong understanding of the wind energy market and can assist or propose acquisition opportunities to the Chief Financial Officer or CEO. The role of the asset manager, particularly in business, is changing in response to technological advances that have significantly reduced the amount of time it takes to produce financial reports. Asset managers’ main responsibility is data analysis and advising senior managers on how to maximize profits. They often work on teams, acting as business advisors to top executives. |
